Writing Challenge- Day 30, my final post from 30 wonderful writers (http://ralphwaldoemerson.me/)
Speak what you think now in hard words, and tomorrow speak what tomorrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said today. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Imagine your future self, ie, you 10 years from now. If he/she were to send you a tweet or text message, 1) what would it say and 2) how would that transform your life or change something you’re doing, thinking, believing or saying today?
(Author: Tia Singh)
“Trust in yourself and your ideas, do not waste time worrying over things you can not change and move forward confidently with the things in life that make the most sense to you. Things will all come together beautifully, just take time to breath, be in the present with your life and all the people that make it so special. Never give up on going after what makes you happy … enjoy the journey.”
These past 30 days have been a wonderful journey of diving deep and getting to the core of trusting myself and discovering ways to find happiness and fulfillment in my work. Thank you to the Domino Project and the 30 amazing writers for presenting this amazing writing challenge. It has forced me for 30 days straight to dedicate time every single night to this important cause. I have no choice at this point, but to continue to push forward.
Do you have something you want to start? My advice is to start writing about it … amazing things happen when you start putting your ideas on paper.
